This statement describes our conformance target, the measures we've taken, and how to reach us if something on this site doesn't work the way it should.
Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
Measures We've Taken
This site was built with accessibility in mind and has since gone through a dedicated WCAG 2.1 AA review covering document structure and headings, image and media alternatives, form labeling and error handling, color contrast, keyboard operation and visible focus indicators, and reduced-motion support for animated and scroll-driven content. We test with keyboard-only navigation and automated accessibility scanning, and we review this work again whenever the site changes in a meaningful way.
Known Limitations
No website is perfectly accessible to everyone, and we're not aware of any tool that can guarantee full conformance on its own. Specific limitations we're aware of:
- The Google Reviews widget in our Testimonials section is provided by a third party (Elfsight). We've tested it for contrast and basic keyboard and screen reader access and fixed the issues we found, but because we don't control its underlying code, a future update on their end could reintroduce one. Every page also includes our phone number and a Netlify-hosted appointment request form that work independently of that widget, so requesting an appointment or reading about your visit never depends on it.
- The homepage hero includes a scroll-driven animated visual and an auto-scrolling patient reviews wall. Both are built to respect your operating system's "reduce motion" setting, both can be paused (the reviews wall has a visible "Pause reviews animation" button; the background video exposes native pause controls if your browser has JavaScript disabled), and the heading, subheading, and appointment-request options remain readable and usable throughout.
